For John Mayer's arena tour in Nashville, our team was tasked with creating a unique and personalized experience to welcome him. Inspired by the GQ article where he suggested a "middle shoe" should exist, we designed a fully-customized shoe box to hold three shoes: a left, a right, and a specially crafted middle shoe. The box was carefully colored to match the theme of his tour and featured a subtle incorporation of the quote from the GQ article. To add an artistic touch, we collaborated with the locally famous artist Audie Adams, who custom-painted three Adidas Ultraboost shoes to be included in the box.

The end result was a truly exceptional and one-of-a-kind shoe box that perfectly complemented John Mayer's style and personality. The customized Adidas Ultraboost shoes, including the unique middle shoe, showcased our attention to detail and creative flair. John Mayer and his entire tour were pleasantly surprised as they were welcomed backstage with larger-than-life illustrations of shoes from John's personal collection. Each shoe's colorway highlighted a specific album in his discography, creating an immersive and visually stunning experience. Our project successfully celebrated John Mayer's love for sneakers and music, leaving a lasting impression on the artist and his fans.
